Mercer Island East

  • Full-Service Home Renovation

This extensive remodel began with meticulously detailed drawings to address a series of design challenges. One of the key changes involved demolishing a view-blocking wall and an outdated closet, allowing us to visualize an open-concept layout. We extended the entry-level flooring, which not only made the space feel larger but also reduced the size of the sunken living room, enhancing overall flow. To maximize functionality, we rotated the existing dining area, making room for a new, stately kitchen island that serves as a focal point for both cooking and socializing. Additionally, we introduced elegant design elements to add style and storage, such as floating corner shelves that flanked the existing bay window. The fireplace also received a beautiful facelift, transforming it into a stunning centerpiece that complements the home's refreshed aesthetic. These thoughtful updates created a harmonious living space that perfectly balances style and practicality.

“Beth understood the design aesthetic we were hoping to achieve right away."

She quickly came up with good ideas during our initial consultation that we hadn’t considered possible. Her conceptual design drawings were the key to helping us get a clear picture of what we could do with our space. We thoroughly enjoyed working with her and would not hesitate to hire her for future projects.
